Cannes Film Festival 2002 witnessed the launch of the costliest Bollywood film ever - Devdas. Of the much discussed aspects of the film, is the conspicuous round dot - bindis - adorning the foreheads of the film's female protagonists - Paro played by former Miss World Aiswarya Rai, and Chandramukhi portrayed by ace actress Madhuri Dixit.
