Subhamoy Das is a former journalist and communications professional based in India.

A Hindu by birth, Subhamoy has researched and written extensively on Hindu philosophy and Indology, and has been the Guide on this site since 1999. He has several years of experience as a journalist and multimedia editor with India's leading media companies including the Hindustan Times, the India Today Group and Cybermedia Limited.

Subhamoy has a Master's Degree in English Literature from the University of North Bengal, Darjeeling, India, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi.
