Experience

Subhamoy began reporting and writing feature articles in 1998 for India's leading media company, the Hindustan Times, before moving on to work with The India Today Group. He has an extensive background in communications, multimedia, and blogging spanning his 20 year career, including 10 years writing about Hinduism for ThoughtCo. 

Subhamoy has written several books targeted to children and young adults on various Hindu festivals. These include Celebrate Series Holi (Hachette Indian, 2013), Celebrate Series: Rakhi & Bhai Dooj (Hachette India, 2011), and Your Fun Festival Handbook: Dussehra & Durga Puja (Hachette India, 2011). He also co-wrote a book for adult readers, Applied Hinduism: Ancient Wisdom for Today's World (Indus Source Books, 1st edition, 2018). Subhamoy is president of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) India.

Education

Subhamoy Das earned a Master Arts (M.A.) in English Literature from the University of North Bengal in 1996. He also holds post-graduate diplomas in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Media Relations, Corporate Communications, and Multimedia from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication–New Delhi. Additionally, Subhamoy studied Business Management at Duke University and had an Associate's degree in Change Management from the Indian Institute of Management.
