red sariDiwali is arguably the most important festival for the Hindus. If you're looking for a perfect present for the 'Festival of Lights,' take a quick dekko at this last-minute guide to good gifting for Diwali! You have various options to choose - from Lakshmi figurines and Ganesha statues to candle holders and 'puja thalis'; from saris and tees to Barbie and books.

My personal favorite is a designer business card wallet - a chic alternative to a bulky wallet or purse for your cards and cash - that has Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, abundance and prosperity beautifully printed on it. A practical present that will inspire you everyday in your spiritual as well as material pursuits!

Also on this list is a set of beautiful jeweled Diwali tealight candle holders from Biedermann & Sons, which can surely add beauty to your Diwali decor. For the woman in your life, what's better than a†cardinal red silk sari for the Diwali party!†And don't miss the Sari Skirts with reversible patchwork panels made from vintage Indian silk sari fabric, and the special edition of Barbie in traditional Indian attire - all dressed up for Diwali!... Diwali is a “big thing” in Trinidad. I love the idea of giving gifts
but why do we have to add the commercialism? Where has the idea of giving a nice tray of “home made sweets” gone? I believe in experiencing the true spirit of the festival……!

The advent of e commerce has changed the way we look at things as far as Diwali Gifts are concerned. Now, everyone can get Diwali Gift ideas and send them across to friends and family members even if they live thousands of miles apart. One of the best sites I have come across is Delightgifts.in; because they have huge range of unique gifts (because itís not just a gift but an experience), personalized to meet the gift recipientís individual needs.
