Hinduism Meet in Virginia on July 18, 2009

The first ever Hinduism Meet of its kind in North America - the 'Hindu Dharma Sabha' is being organized by the Forum for Hindu Awakening (FHA) with support from prominent spiritual gurus and Hindu organizations, on Saturday, July 18, 2009 (Ashadh Krishna Ekadashi 5111) at the Durga Temple of Virginia, near Washington DC (see map).

The Hinduism Meet will feature prominent Hindu leaders from across North America, and dicuss such topics as understanding the unique spiritual science and scientific history underlying Hinduism; awakening to the misconceptions about Hinduism; living simple practices and concepts of Hinduism in day-to-day life; preserving the sanctity of Hinduism from denigration and malpractices. It will commence and conclude with auspicious recitations from the Vedas and ancient Hindu Scriptures.
