Good Dharma = Good Karma

Wednesday April 30, 2008
Hinduism believes in the concept of reincarnation. What determines the state of an individual in the next existence is karma which refers to the actions undertaken by the body and the mind. In order to achieve good karma it is important to live life according to dharma. This involves doing what is right for the individual, the family, the community and also for the universe itself. Dharma is like a cosmic norm and if one goes against the norm it can result in bad karma. So, dharma affects the future according to the karma accumulated. Therefore, one's dharmic path in the next life is determined by their past karma.

(1) Anjali says:

In the West people believe in the Morphogenetic Theory. Just like images of photographs can be morphed in the same way in each life we create a photographic field of our life energy. This is morphed as the seed or the energy field of the next life.
This explains why certain people are born prodigies-their energy fields are more advanced or intense in these areas.
This is tantamount to Hindus believing in past karmic gifts that we are reborn with.

Hi,
it is very true about Karma, what goes with ourlifes is based on our previous past lifes, So either good or bad we have to accept it and only one God can change our Karma and that is the Dharma Lord Shiva.
Om nama Shivya.
