Alexander was a born leader. He was an exceptional fighter. He conquered most parts of world but there is a lot of controversy over his invasion in India. According to Indian history he was stopped by Porus at his entry in the country but still most of the world believes that he won the battle.
I want to have a have a question that if he won that battle then why didn’t he invaded rest of India.I mean there is no sense to a fact that he did won that battle and still left the idea of winning India.
Do u get any sense behind that?

Historians have dealt at length on this. Alexander had all the intention to continuing his invasion of India, but his soldiers, tired from years of battling and away from their families for long had decided otherwise. Moreover, the battle with Porus, despite the win, had proved costly. The use of elephants in Indian army had unnerved the Greeks, though Alexander, in his famous address to his soldiers pointed out how this disadvantage could be turned into advantage for them. Despite Alexander’s pursuation, the soldiers refused to march further into India and the campaign was abandoned.

Alexander did not invade india at all.Let me tell you this is the biggest hoax in Indian history created by European historians and also backed by some corrupt Indian historians of today who simply want to make money from west by making a propoganda of such false history.Even the date of Gautam Buddha has been wrongly changed to 583 BC and this same history continues to be a part of Indian Education system!!!since last 2 yrs I am beginning to learn this blunders created by colonial British government.
